We Need A Weed Whacker!

 Look around. Does your life have a lot of weeds growing in it? 

Anger, unforgiveness, envy, selfishness, etc? 

It’s easy to let things go. To not take care of things as they pop up. 

Saying “oh, I’ll take care of it tomorrow.” 

But before we know it, many tomorrows have come and gone, and we still haven’t taken care of the weeds. 

Then when we finally take some time to look around at our lives, all we can see are the weeds! 

Tall, unruly weeds that have overtaken our lives. 

Taken our peace, our joy, our freedom and rest in Christ.

We need a weed-whacker!

But you might say “I don’t have a weed-whacker!” or “I don’t know how to use the weed-whacker that I have!”

That’s ok!! Because Jesus will give us what we need! He will give us the weed-whacker and/or He will show us what to do, how to use it.

“Ok, but then where do I start? There are so many weeds that it’s overwhelming me on thinking where to start?!”

Be still and ask but then listen.

He will show us which area to start in.

He will be right beside us, showing us what to do and how to do it.

It’s time for a weed-whacker!
